POKÉMON EUIC 2025 LONDON
RETURNING TO THE EXCEL
I was very happy that Flux Broadcast had invited me again to run a team of replay operators at the 2025 edition of The Pokémon EUIC.
It is a wonderful event to be a part of because the community is so huge and passionate about the games and Pokémon that bring them all together.
Apparently when the Pokémon EUIC began at the Excel Centre, there were 900 attendants. Now, there are 900 staff! Over 14000 players were in attendance throughout the weekend.
POKÉMON GO
I worked on the Instant Replays and EOD Highlight Packages on the Pokémon GO stage. It's an exciting mobile game and the competition is surprisingly spicy. These players travel the world competing as trainers on the GO circuit and here they were looking to claim big prizes and spots at the end of year Championship.

P4T0M4N and Zzweilous faced off in a Grand Final bracket reset that went to 7 rounds. It was a pleasure to clip all these moments of elation for players and their families.
REPLAY TEAM
It was a pleasure to work with a talented replay team who are all graduates from the Confetti Institute's Esports programme. Becca Green, Rafael Barbosa and Tom Edwards are all very hard working individuals with many broadcast skills in their suite of skills. As a veteran of this job I was able to help them out navigating the event and they were able to help me fix my tech issues!
